We go home today. It’s day 51. Hospital stays are always going to happen. You must make the best of it. Your significant other will now have a break all of the tasks that were turned over to them. I know we turn back to the hospital, rejoice they will now be able to get some sleep.
They will be able to straighten out the house. They will be able to act like a human being again instead of the 38 task zombie they have become. When the doctor said Bobby, we are going to meet you today at 2 o’clock. My response was great. The doctor said no one has ever said great. I said, now my Susan can sleep now my Susan can eat vaginally now my Susan can go back to work. She can become the independent person she always was.
This time was four days like each time it had its peaks and valleys, luckily, many more peaks.
Love you, Bobby and Susan and Sydney, always & forever
